Challenge

For the 2024 and 2025 editions, the project set us an ambitious challenge: to refresh the event’s visual identity, making it contemporary, distinctive and capable of conveying its values of innovation, inclusivity and presence right across the city. Alongside this, we were asked to design a digital experience that could manage and showcase over 250 events through a platform that was intuitive, accessible and effective, both for browsing content and for handling registrations and live sessions.

Solution

Our involvement began with the creation of a new visual identity, built around a key visual that captures the dynamic, far-reaching spirit of Milano Digital Week. This concept was carried through every digital and physical touchpoint: web banners, OOH advertising, merchandise, the event guide, access badges for the sessions, and the design of the event’s Central Hub.

In parallel, we designed and built a completely redesigned website with an intuitive, UX-led interface. The new structure made navigation faster and more accessible, giving strong visibility to all of the 250-plus scheduled events. Each event had its own dedicated page, which could also be reached through an interactive map for a more immersive experience. Integration with the proprietary Liveforum platform meant that registrations and live sessions could be managed directly on the site.

This strategic, creative and technical approach helped Milano Digital Week reinforce its standing as a benchmark for digital culture and innovation, confirming its place as an event that communicates effectively and engagingly with businesses and citizens alike.
