In 2022, Deloitte was looking for a technology solution capable of hosting the Entrepreneur Summit, one of its flagship proprietary events. The LiveForum platform was chosen for the way it simplifies the process of setting up one-to-one meetings, making it easier to match supply and demand and facilitate business connections. The partnership with Deloitte remains active today, supporting the events team through every stage of the organisational process.
Solution
TIG Factory developed a bespoke platform for Deloitte that uses a dedicated algorithm to create and optimise participants’ schedules — for both investment funds and companies — while accounting for complex preferences and variables. The platform also handled the registration and accreditation of the event’s 500-plus participants.
The LiveForum platform was designed to manage the entire business matching process intelligently, including:
Preference-gathering system: each participant was able to set their preferences across a range of variables — interests, sectors and priorities.
Advanced optimisation algorithm: automatically processing the best possible combinations to generate individual schedules that maximised meeting opportunities.
Advamced Backoffice: Deloitte’s staff had access to a control dashboard to monitor the algorithm’s output, view all participants’ schedules and step in manually to make changes and adjustments.
Real-time access: on the day of the event, all participants could view their own schedule directly in the platform and join their one-to-one meetings in the dedicated meeting rooms.
Accreditation and badge printing: by presenting their QR code, participants could self-print their personalised badge, cutting down on waiting times.
