Challenge
When rethinking the website of Villa Arconati, one of the most magnificent historic villas in the Milan area, with unique historical, cultural, and architectural value and now hosting visits, events, photoshoots, and cultural activities, the main challenge was to clearly and immediately express the brand’s dual identity. The website needed to represent the Villa not only as a prestigious historic and architectural landmark, but also as a vibrant, versatile, and evocative venue capable of attracting a wide range of audiences, from cultural heritage visitors to companies and event organizers. At the same time, it was essential to deliver a simple, intuitive, and engaging browsing experience, aligned with contemporary UX expectations.
Solution
To address this challenge, we adopted a visual-first approach, designing a modern, clean, and essential graphic restyling built around evocative imagery capable of instantly conveying the atmosphere and beauty of Villa Arconati—from its historic interiors to its monumental gardens. Photographic elements were integrated into a narrative structure that tells the story of the place, strengthening the connection between the brand and its cultural heritage. In parallel, we simplified the information architecture and optimized navigation flows to ensure clear and intuitive content consumption, improving usability for users with different goals (visiting, booking, learning). The result is a website that not only presents Villa Arconati, but truly enhances it, delivering a user experience consistent with the excellence of both the brand and the location.
