Chief Digital & Experience Officer, illycaffè

Appointed Chief Digital & Experience Officer in 2020, Francesca Romana Saule has a broaden knowledge as Executive in Products Industry  with more than 16 years of experience in Digital, Omni-channel, CRM, Social and Content Strategy Programs coming from Strategy Consulting.

She joined illycaffè in 2018 as Global Head of Digital & CRM and Digital Transformation Director managing the digital marketing streams within the Global Marketing Department and the Digital Transformation Program, reporting to CEO.

She is now leading the digitalized B2B2C illy experience managing globally the 4Cs: Commerce, Content, Consumer/Customer and Community, orchestrating the integrated media and communication plan.

Previously she worked as Senior Manager Consultant within the major Fashion & Luxury, Retail and Consumer Goods companies such as Nespresso, Swarovski, Moncler, Nike, Folli Follie, Montenapoleone Association, Nestlé, Unilever, P&G, Coca Cola and Barilla.

She was born in Trieste where she graduated in International Political Science and attended a PhD in Economics. She also studied at the European School of Management and attended the Georgetown University and the Harvard Business School.
