Adolfo is 54 years old. He has a degree with honors in Business Administrations at Luigi Bocconi University in Milan.

He worked for several years in investment banking and business consulting sectors first at JPMorgan (in Milan and New York offices) and later at Accenture as Senior Manager, carrying out several projects in financial services industry both in IT and strategic areas.

In 2003, Adolfo joined Capitalia as Deputy Head of Group Organization Dept., being in charge of several strategic projects. In 2005 he was appointed Head of Organization Dept. and ExCo Member of Banca di Roma, where he led the bank’s turnaround plan.

In January 2008, he joined Unicredit as COO of Group Corporate Division. Afterwards, he was appointed Board Member of Unicredit Produzioni Accentrate (UCI shared services company for operations) and of UniCredit Global Information Services (UCI shared services company for IT).

In 2010, Adolfo joined BNP Paribas Group as COO and ExCo Member of BNL.

In 2014, he was appointed COO and Deputy CEO of BNPP Business Partner Italia, the shared services company of BNPP Group in Italy that provided services to all Group’s Italian companies.

Thereafter, Adolfo was appointed Chief Transformation Officer of BNL and he became responsible for the customer centricity (customer advocacy/NPS) and the digital transformation of the Bank. He was also member of Retail Transformation Committee of BNPP Group.

In June 2019, Adolfo joined SIA Group (international paytech Group) as Chief Customer Operations Officer and ExCo member.

Starting from January 2022, Adolfo joined NEXI (international paytech Group) as CEO and General Manager of ServiceHUB, a company of NEXI Group that provides customer care, value added and industrial services to the Group’s clients. He was Head OPS Transformation Italy and Board Member of Nexi Processing Services Greece as well.

In July 2023 Adolfo joined Banco BPM (third Italian banking Group) as Chief Innovation Officer of the Group, overseeing ICT, Cybersecurity, Data governance, Operations and Real Estate.
