KEYNOTE SPEAKERS:
The Innovation Group and the Digital Agenda Observatory of the School of Management of Politecnico di Milano have decided to cooperate in the organization of “The New Digital Government Summit 2015”, scheduled to take place in Rome, on November 25-26, 2015.
The initiative is supported by Astrid, Forum PA, Confindustria Digitale, CorCom and Agendadigitale.eu and is aimed at gathering ICT industry leaders, Public Administration representatives, Government representatives, economists and academics, as well as members of the new Digital and Innovation Ecosystems, in order to share the specific competences, skills and relations models of the organizations promoting the event to support the implementation of Italy’s Digital Agenda in a more effective way.
Italy’s commitment to digital transformation is an integral part of the initiatives aimed at reviving the growth of the entire system and improving its global competitiveness.
Several years have been spent discussing the Digital Agenda, so what is exactly the “Current State of the Digital Agenda” in our country? How do we plan to govern its development and how do we compare with the innovation policies and processes of the most advanced countries?
What is our “Industrial policy for the digital economy”? To what extent should we invest, both at a European level and nationally, in order to make sure we can sustainably compete on a global scale? What public-private partnership models would be most suitable? Where can we find the necessary resources?
How far have we come with digital transformation within the Digital Administration? How far gone are the projects currently being implemented, what are precisely the new priorities of AgID (Agency for Digital Italy) – which is affected by a governance approach that is too complex to be effective – for the near future, what are its actual commitments in terms of “execution”? What are the most interesting local experiences that thrive within the Public Administration thanks to the commitment of capable and passionate public sector managers and the influence of the new digital ecosystems?
And what stage has the digital transformation process reached in the business community, starting from the strategic SME sector? Which “systemic initiatives” can serve as a trigger to innovation processes carried out in cooperation with political institutions, entrepreneurial organizations and local technologies?
The presentation of the 2015 results from the Digital Agenda Observatory will be included in the New Digital Government Summit 2015 agenda; an entire session will be dedicated to it in the morning of the second day of the Summit (from 9am to 1pm).
